Pricing for Limited Edition Saab Turbo X Revealed
MPH 2007 will be able to witness the UK premier of the driver-focused performance car that sets new standards for Saab--the Turbo X. First launched last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Saab Turbo X will be offered in a limited number of 500 and will be sold in the UK. The prices will start from £32,495.
The Saab Turbo X will also mark the introduction of Saab’s cutting-edge all-wheel-drive system, the XWD that is expected to set the standards which competitors will likely imitate.
The Turbo X revs up 400 Nm of torque from its 280hp 2.8 V6 turbo engine making this vehicle as the ultimate performance expression of the new Saab 9-3 range. The XWD has an active management system that enables the split of torque delivered between axles and between the rear wheels. Such responsive system showcased a never before seen level of driver involvement and dynamic chassis control that is not witness before in Saab.
The Managing Director of Saab Great Britain, Jonathan Nash said that the MPH is considered as one of the high points of the automotive calendar which makes it only fitting to choose it for the debut of the Turbo X.
The Saab Turbo X is offered in Saloon or SportWagon body styles and will come complete with Saab repair manuals. Interested customers are now welcomed to place their order. First deliveries are expected early next year.
